METALS Team Wins Superlative NASA Award

In November 2024, the NUSTARS Space Technology team traveled to Las Vegas to present METALS (Metallic Expandable Technology for Lunar Artemis Structures) for the NASA BIG Idea Challenge. At the expo, they defended 13 months of research to a panel of NASA engineers and judges.
What did they bring home?
None other than the superlative Artemis Award—NASA’s top pick for innovation and lunar viability.
